Hi, my name is Anish Annam and I volunteer as a tutor with an organization called SmartQuad, where I help student built strong academic foundations at an early age. I primarily work with kids in elementary and middle school, supporting them in subjects such as math and english. My goal is to make learning fun and accessible. I focus on building confidence as much as skills, encouraging my students to ask questions based on their needs. I make them think critically and I use creative teaching strategies such as games and real life examples for them to relate with the concept better. I also help students build better study habits, time management skills, and skills which benefit them in the real world. Seeing students grow and learn concepts is the most rewarding gift I could ask for. I collaborate with other mentors in the organization to share resources and improve teaching methods. I believe every child has lots of potential and I am passionate for them to reach the top of it. Being part of SmartQuad allows me to give back to my community while nurturing upcoming learners which is something I love to do.
